En aquesta recerca hem arribat fins als estudis de l\u2019Institut Catal\u00e0 d\u2019Arqueologia Cl\u00e0ssica (ICAC) i, especialment, als treballs del Dr. Jordi L\u00f3pez Vilar, que ens han servit com a punt de partida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hem trobat diferents aq\u00fceductes vinculats al subministrament d\u2019aigua de T\u00e0rraco:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Aq\u00fceducte republic\u00e0 (Puigdelf\u00ed \u2013 T\u00e0rraco)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Aqua Augusta (Puigpelat \u2013 T\u00e0rraco)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3.&nbsp; Prolongaci\u00f3 de l\u2019Aqua Augusta (Pont d\u2019Armentera \u2013 Puigpelat)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. Aq\u00fceducte del Francol\u00ed (Vallmoll \u2013 T\u00e0rraco)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I tamb\u00e9 altres conduccions situades fora de l\u2019\u00e0rea m\u00e9s immediata de la ciutat, com els aq\u00fceductes del Baix Gai\u00e0 i el de Centcelles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Per\u00f2&#8230; per qu\u00e8 anar a buscar aigua tan lluny?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La resposta ens ajuda a entendre la magnitud del projecte: calia trobar punts de captaci\u00f3 adequats, garantir una aigua de qualitat i aconseguir que aquesta arrib\u00e9s a T\u00e0rraco per gravetat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hem comen\u00e7at a posar noms i xifres a aquest impressionant patrimoni: el Pont de les Ferreres o Pont del Diable, relacionat amb l\u2019aq\u00fceducte del Francol\u00ed, encara es conserva avui i fa 215 metres de llargada i 24 metres d\u2019altura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 sabem de l\u2019exist\u00e8ncia del pont aq\u00fceducte del Gai\u00e0, que s\u2019estenia entre la muntanya de l\u2019Oliva i la muralla de T\u00e0rraco i que tenia una llargada de 700 metres. Aquesta \u00e9s nom\u00e9s la primera parada d\u2019un projecte que ens portar\u00e0 a descobrir la hist\u00f2ria, l\u2019enginyeria i el patrimoni que s\u2019amaguen darrere de la Mina de l\u2019Arquebisbe.<br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Comencem una nova aventura!
