Our school year project: the modeling and realization of a river lock system. This ambitious project is a collaborative effort involving students from different levels, each contributing their unique skills and expertise.
Level 1: Creating the Model Our ESO 1 students have taken on the task of building a detailed physical model of the river lock. Their work involves meticulous planning and construction, ensuring that the model accurately represents the real-world mechanics of a river lock system. This hands-on experience not only enhances their understanding of engineering principles but also fosters teamwork and creativity. 3D modeling and painting, mechanisms, materials,,,,, a lot of their program takes part in that !
Level 2: Developing the Supervision Web Application Students at ESO 2 are responsible for developing a web application to supervise the river lock model. This application allows users to monitor and control the lock system remotely, providing real-time data and insights. The development process includes coding, user interface design, and integrating various sensors and data streams. This project helps students gain valuable experience in web development and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies.
Level 3: Algorithms and Robotics Our ESO 3 students are focused on the algorithms and robotics elements of the project. They are tasked with designing and implementing the algorithms that control the sensors and motors of the river lock. This includes programming the logic for opening and closing the lock gates, managing water levels, and ensuring smooth operation. By working on this project, students develop advanced skills in robotics, automation, and algorithm design.
Conclusion
The river lock project at RetoTech Endesa is a testament to the power of collaborative learning and innovation. By involving students from different levels, we are able to tackle complex challenges and create a comprehensive solution. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by all our students and look forward to seeing the final results of this exciting project.
